The 45 hours of Community Service must be completed by May 1st. If you have questions about Community Service, please have your child contact Mrs. Barela in Student Services.
All SPHS financial obligations for lost textbooks or athletic equipment will need to be paid in the Library prior to receiving a diploma or walking at graduation.
TRANSCRIPTS – Official transcripts may be ordered from the Registrar, Mrs. Quinones, in the main office. If you are under 18 years old, a parent signature is required. Do not order transcripts until the application is in the mail. Counselors will include an Official Transcript if they are writing a letter of recommendation for you to an independent/private college. The UC and CSU systems do not require transcripts, unless they specifically request one. When they do, see Mrs. Quinones and she will send it.

LETTERS OF REC - If you are applying to private colleges or universities and need a letter of rec or a Secondary School Report signed by your counselor please make an appointment in the counseling office 3 weeks in advance of your deadline or by December 1, 2010 (whichever date comes first). Download the required College Recommendation forms off of Naviance so that you come prepared to your appointment. Plan to attend the Independent College Workshop for further application instructions on October 6, 2010 (8 AM, Auditorium). Counselors will be sending letters of recommendations and secondary school report forms electronically through Naviance this year.
